dilemma

OK so here I am.

We are group of 4 people as part of a course project. 3 guys and me. 2 guys are working and the remaining 2 (me and other guy) are full time students.
And a very tricky part of the project requires that we all sit together and scratch our heads to optimize time and output. This working together process can be accomplished in a number of ways.

1. We all Skype.
2. Working guys come to school and we work from there.
3. Me and other guy go to the working guys place and work from there. This requires us to stay over, as they live in far off suburbs. (one of the working guy is a real good friend btw).

And here's what happened.

This is me...

I am flawed.

I have my weak moments, when I run away, I hide and I emerge back.

I get angry too. (and often sulk if it remains unexpressed or unhandled)

So in short I am the imperfect, ordinary human being. And if you still regard me as your friend, then kindly accept me as I am. With my flaws, my weaknesses and thus in my entirety.
Else, we will tell ourselves that we did not know and understand each other that well and hence were not 'true' friends (at least I will tell that to myself, you can choose a different way).

But kindly try to accept me for being myself. It will save a friendship and a good relationship. And it will be a great (full of drama and emotion, juicy and spicy) story to tell our grand kids !! :)

No..No..No..

This is what happened to a friend on the holy eve of Valentine's day.
She went out with a guy on a date and the jerk ruined her evening by being with his EX..on the phone, of course !!!
What eh loser !!!

I am not a dating rule book, but I think the love guru has to spill out some gyaan now.
This applies to both guys and girls! This can be generalized too.

Never engage yourself in long telephonic conversations on a date/dinner outing/party/meeting/lunch/brunch. Specially if you have company!!
Because..

1. duh!!!!! Its impolite.

2. Its rude.

3. Be considerate to the emotions of the person you are with. He/She also thought about having some fun and quality time out, so planned the whole thing. Its just stupid, to be not considerate. And I think if you do not understand the obvious hints like playing with the menu card, toying with the cell phone, staring into thin air, etc, then you are so not suited for this thing. You better be hanging out with your EX or other friends.

4. Its selfish.

5. Even if you care about the person on the phone (which is understandable), it gives out many wrong notions to the other person who is sitting opposite to you.

6. Attending to a telephone call, specially from an EX just diverts/distracts one. A total spoiler.

7. It's just waste of time. For you, your EX and specially the poor soul sitting across, who could have had a lot of fun watching a romantic comedy instead!!

I hope the point has been driven straight into your brains.
Never do that to anyone. It's outright stupid!!!
